VRay Material Control 2.01

A really powerful script that allows you to change the properties of materials or textures in your scene, selection or material editor. Donate Oliver as we already did, he deserves it.

Current Version: 2.01

The VMC is a powerful maxscript tool that allows you to change the properties of materials or textures in your scene, selection or material editor.

Version 2 has been completely re-written and now includes:

• Support for all Vray materials and textures like VrayDirt, VrayHdri etc, native Bitmap texture, Color Correction Map, MultiTexture, MultiScatterTexture and ForestMaterial.
• A handy subdiv reset for getting old scenes & models where you want them.
• Improved speed and reliability

If there is enough support I could release a version to work on just about anything, but we’ll see…

Installation.

Download the file and run the MZP package from 3dsmax’s menu:  Maxscript -> Run script or drag it into a 3dsmax viewport.

Notes.

The script has been built for Vray 2.x and Max 2013 but should work with older versions.
The bitmap output rollout properties is not hooked up yet, I have this working and will release an update shortly.
